These designs were stitched using Anchor stranded cotton on 28-count linen over two threads of the fabric.

Follow our measurements (right) to stitch the charts in the correct position on your table runner. First, stitch the rosę border chart on the left-hand side of the runner, ensuring the top rosę is 79.5cm (31 in) from the bottom of the fabric. Then stitch three hearts at 16cm (6¹/2in) intervals below the rosę border chart, inserting a motif in between. Repeat on the right-hand panel.

Zweigart recommends you wash your fabric in temperatures no higher than 60°C. However, if you want to preserve your stitching for as long as possible it is best to treat stains on the fabric with a direct spray stain remover as soon as they occur. We then recommend hand washing your table linen in a bowl of tepid water and a gentle detergent, before rinsing it in cold water.
