Please familiorise yourself with the materials contoined in this kit and read thc insTructions carefully before starting.

Your kit contains a coloured illustration, 1 piece of white Aida fabric, 1 piece of white satecn, an cmbroidery needfe, chart, an instruction Icaflet showing a voriety of stitching techniąues and sufficicnt lengths of each colour of Anchor Strandcd Cotton thread. To Complete your cushion you will necd: a cushion pad measuring approximately 2.5cm lorgcr than the cover, scissors and cord in a colour of your choice mccsuring 130cm,

HOW TO BE&IN

Tron the fobric lightly to toke out any creases that may havc occurred in pcckagir-g this product.

A Taking one piece of thc oido, fold evenly to four sections as shown and find the centre of your fobric.

B Follow the smali arrows on the side of thc chart into the middle of the design and mcrk where they meet in the centre. This is the point from where you will start to stitch.

Anchor Strcnded Cotton is madę up of 6 strands of cotton, looseiy twisted together.

Separate and use the number of strands in the needle as indicated cn thc key. It is rccommended that you cut the threod to lengths no longer than 50cm for use when stitching.

When stitching you are reguired to maintoin an even tension. To cchieve this we recommend the use of an embroidery hoop or framc.

Work areas of one colour when the stitches cre close to one another, but do not be tempted to 'jump' to another area too for cway as it is easy to waste thread by doing this and thc bock of the design may look very untidy.
