Ondansetron (Zofran) — Selective 5-HT3-receptor antagonist that blocks serotonin both peripherally and centrally. Considered potentially morę effective than metoclopramide; in addition, adverse effects are less common. Adult Dosel mg, or 0.15 mg/kg or 8 mg IV q8h, not to exceed 3 doses
