The neck opening is fmished with the 1.5 cm. wide band of edging cut from the selvage of the fabric.
The raw edges of the neck opening along the back and sides are tumed inward, face to face, and sewn together with the raw side of the edging.
The selvage side of the edging is cast to the inside of the neck opening.
TheTanaittirig edging is then folded such that the raw edge łiesirrthe seam itself and the selvage lies outermost The ties are then sewn one at a time with an overcast stitch.
A loose knot is madę in each of the ties at the front comers of the neck opening. They are then fastened to the shirt so that the tie from the opposite side can be siipped through the knot The ties are stitched to the horizontal edges of the panel flaps with an overcast stitch and then siipped through the comer knots and finished with a little knot on the ends.
