• Showing attitude and emotions
• Supporting verbal communication - co called non-verbal dialogue structure
• Replacing speech (when verbal communication is hindered)
Body language was developing for millions of years, nevertheless, research on thern bas been done only sińce 1960S. Non-verbal communication bas a huge meaning in understanding other peoples behaviour, either for vocational and persona I purpose.
Finally, it is also worth mentioning that in interpersonal communication non-verbal signals liave the ability to communicate emotions and attitude. Some messages are easier to express by gestures rather than words, and ihe verbal channel is often busy, so it is worth to use another channels.
