Wlien Do We Use Cardinal Numbers?

Cardinal numbers are used:

•    to count.

   to tell time (la hora). The third-person singular form of ser (es, era) is used for one oclock and any time that includes la una: la unay diez minutos. The third-person plural of ser (son, eran) is used for all other times.
