I have known Kąty for 25 years and we have been friends sińce we were children. Recently, she has moved to a house in my Street and now our sons play together every aftemoon.

For the past five months, Kąty and I have worked in the same office. Kąty is very happy at work but lately she has had some trouble with her left hand, and she has found it difficult to type or do other office tasks.

She has seen the doctor several times about her hand, but the doctor doesn’t know what the problem is. Kąty is thinking of having a break and going away on holiday. She has never been to Cairo before and she would love to see the city, the Pyramids of Giza and all the ancient monuments. Yesterday she rang her travel agent to enąuire about the flights and holidays they have on offer. Unfortunately she was late and the office was closed so she could only listen to a recorded message . It said: “Thank you for calling Mediterranean Tours. Our office is now closed for the day. Our office hours are from 9.30 am till 5.30 pm. Please leave your name and number after the tonę and we will cali you back as soon as it is possible”.

Kąty didn’t leave any message and she decided to visit them the next day.
