On Tuesday last week, Susan Smith's alarm clock broke and she woke up very late. It was a disaster because she had an important exam at 9.30. 6.1    She put on her clothes

and called a taxi. The taxi arrived but soon it crashed against a lamp post and could't go any further. 6.2    Finally the bus came but it drove very slowly because there was a traffic

jam on the road. She got off the bus at 9.15 and it started to rain. 6.3    Luckily the

exam was cancelled because the teacher was sick.
