Re-perforate

Use the multi-needle tools over a thick perforating mat to re-define each shape.

Cut

Cut the flower tool perforations and the matching shape within the semi-star shapes into stars.

Use a two needle tool to perforate around the edges of the design and cut out.

Repeat the above steps to produce five individual tree sections.

Finishing

Add a smali amount of glitter glue to the centre of each five in a circle shape and the centre dot of the outer large snowflakes. Allow to dry thoroughly.

Using a smali bali tool emboss the fold linę on the front of the piece and carefully and gently fold.

Use a hi-tack glue apply it sparingly to the edges of the sections with a cocktail stick, and carefully match up to the edge of a second section. Allow time for the glue to dry and continue to join the sections in this way until the tree shape is complete.

Be careful that you don't glue along the bottom edges or your tree won't stand up properly.

(A smaller tree can be madę by drawing a base linę across a different set of 'branches'and omitting any perforations that would straddle that linę or by only making three orfour sections instead of five.)

If wished, you can make two smaller sections into a tree decoration byjoining them back to back and threading metallic thread through the top two'stars.'

Dorse

Colour the parchment with a dark green crayon or pastel and then blend with your preferred medium.

Tracę

Tracę the outline of the tree and the large snowflake designs at the end of each branch with gold ink.

Tracę the central fold linę with white pencil.

Perforate

Place the parchment on a thin perforating mat and working over the pattern, perforate the design with the appropriate multi-needle tool.

Emboss

Using a smali bali tool, emboss along the edge of each section and use a medium bali tool to emboss the large snowflake designs. With a smali bali tool emboss a dot within each of the five in a circle tool perforations and emboss around the semi-star tool perforations.
