The most recognized secondary lymphoid organ in the intestine is the PP. The PP was originally described by Joseph Hans and Conrad Peyer in 1677
1. PPs appear morphologically as clusters of three or morę large lymphoid aggregates. Large B celi follicles with adjacent T celi areas surround a germinal center. Mąjority of celi present in PP are CD4+ T cells and B cells
