Slidc up I bead on the posirion it ovcr rhe centrę of rhe flower. Th en pass rhe i > the flower to rhe back of the work as well.

Keeping LC and DC togerher, place rhem ovcr youi hand rcady ro tar a chain. Using WWT work 1 Ids wirh G shurrle. Make surę rhe first double stirch firs snugly behind flower A. Take up DC shurtle and tat flower B. Bring LC thread ro rhe front and rhen close this flower firmly as beforc. Slidc up a bcad on LC and posirion this in rhe ccnrre of flower B. Pass LC ro rhe back of the w ork too. As beforc, kccp LC and DC rogerher and chain WWT wirh shurtle G for 5ds. Revcrsc work. Wirh shurtle

G only rat a ring of 6 normal ds, p, 6 norma 1 ds to form a icaf. RW. Then take up LC and DC rogether again rcady for a chain. With shutrlc G chain a further 9ds in WWT.

Using LC rat flower C and, as beforc, bring DC ro the fronr, close the flower and posirion a bcad in rhe ccnrre. Wirh G shurtle rat a chain of 8ds in WWT ovcr LC and DC. RW. Using G only make a ring of 10 normal ds, p, 10 normal ds. RW. Take up LC and DC again and in WWT with G rat a chain of 8ds. With LC make flower D as ahove, and posirion a bcad from DC in rhe centrę. Wirh G make a chain of 9ds in WWT, a Icaf of 6ds, p, 6ds normally, and a chain of 7ds in WWT. Work flower I£ with DC and a bcad from LC. Then wirh G make a chain of

30ds WWT.

Now join the ends ncatly behind flower A ro form a circlc. As in embroidery, vcrv lictlc of the LC and the DC should nppear on the wrong sidc. These should be covcrcd by the G rhread. Tum to the front, arrange rhe flowers and błock them beforc attaching to a suirablc background.
