TOP BODY HOŁD GROUND WORK (With Variations)
Basic Top Body Hołd: Drop to your knees close to
partner, place your body Lengthwise over his. Your hands grip his belt at each side, head pressed into his body, Photo #1. Your arms are over his upper arms, locking his arms to his sides. Knees brace you into position. Knees can be brought up close to partner's shoulders.
First Variation: Though not as effective, the hołd
can be taken with your arms under his arms,

Second Yariation: Extend legs straight, raise onto toes, body off ground, weight on toes and partner's upper body. Photo #3. This variation may be taken with either arm position above.
Third Yariation: From basie hołd, reach under his
shoulder with your left hand, grip his left wrist, puli back applying arm lock pressure, Photo #3.
It is possible to apply two arm loeks in this vari-ation, but morę effective to control his body with one arm while other arm applies lock.
