Lay a chair with its back on tlie floor; grasp the extreme end of one of the legs, as shown in the illus-tration, and raise the end furthest from you by pressing knuckles ftrmly against the floor, and using all the strcngth in the forearm and biceps. Repeat with the other liand. After considerable practice a weight may be placed on the back of the chair, thus making the feat morę difificult.
