2-18 PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
• Inspect the drive Chain guide buffer ® for wear and cracks. NOTĘ:
The drive Chain can touch the swingarm directly if the Chain guide buffer is worn out This will cause drive Chain and swingarm damage.
• Inspect the drive Chain tensioner rollers @ for wear.
• Inspect the tensioner roller bofts for tightness.
H Drive Chain tensioner roller bolt:
31 N-m (3.1 kgf-m, 22.5 Ib-ft)
• Inspect the brake fluid level in both front and rear reservoirs. If the brake fluid level is lower than LOWER mark ®? replenish the reservoir with the specified brake fluid to the UPPER lęvel. Inspect brake pad wear and brake fluid leakage if the brake fluid level decreases. f" \ \ V

Brake fluid can be hazardous to hurfiens ańd pets. Brake fluid is harmful or fatalif swallowed, and harm-ful ił it comes in contact with yoiirf skin or eyes.
Keep brake fluid away from chtldren. Cali your doctor immediately if brake fluid is swallowed, and induce vomiting. Flush eyes or skin with water if brake fluid gets in eyes or comes in contact with skin.
A WARNING
The use of any fluid except DOT4 brake fluid from a sealed Container can damage the brake system and lead to an accident.
Use only DOT4 brake fluid from a sealed Container. Never use or mix different types of brake fluid.
_CAUTION_
Spilled brake fluid can damage painted surfaces and plastic parts.
Be careful not to spili any fluid when filling the brake fluid reservoir. Wipe spilled fluid up immediately.
