EXHAUST VALVE

♦    Remove the exhaust valve assembly. (C^7°6-5)

♦    Remove carbon deposits trom the main exhaust valve₇ sicie valve, spacer and exhaust valve guide.

♦    Check for wear and damage.

NOTĘ:

If tar drops from the exhaust valve breather hose when the motorcycle is parked, change engine oiI brand because some engine oil can accumulate tarin the exhause valve chamber.

EXHAUST SILENCER

SILENCER INSPECTION AND REPLACE-MENT

•    Remove the seat and the right frame cover.

*    Loosen the silencer mounting bolt and remove the silencer.

♦    Remove three bolts and extract the black frontal pipę from the

aluminum case.    .....\ \ \ \

*    Inspect the glass wool.CD.jor óloggińg with carbon deposit or

tar.    \

•    -•—*._s i .*■

*    Replace the glass wqoT(J) wjth a new one if necessary.

SILENCER RE ASSEMBLY

*    Fit the glass wool (1) and the black frontal pipę to the aluminum case.

*    Tighten three bolts.

NOTĘ:

To seat between the black frontal pipę flange and the aluminum case, apply SUZUKI BOND to the contact area of the flange.
