REAR SUSPENSION

♦    Move the rear suspension up and down several times and inspect for smooth movement.

•    Inspect for damage and oil leaks.

♦    Inspect the bolts and nuts fortightness.

*    Inspect that the rear suspension has play or binds by moving the swingarm up and down, and right and left.

WHEELS AND TIRES

TIRE PRESSURE

♦ Inspect front and rear tire pressure.

Tire pressure (coId):

70-110 kPa (0.7- 1.1 kgf/cm²,10-16 psi)

SPOKE NIPPLE/ /    _ ■ , v

* Inspect the spokes forjensipń-by grasping the spoke nipples. Retighten the spoke nipples with a spoke nipple wrench so as all spokes have same tension.

CAUTION

Improperly tightening of the spoke nipples can damage the wheel.

Tighten the spoke nipples less than 1/2 turn at a time. Inspect the spoke tension and then retighten the spoke nipple.
