CLUTCH

Adjust the clutch cable play as follows:

MAJOR ADJUSTMENT

♦    Loosen the locknut ©.

♦    Tum the adjuster <2> so that the clutch lever obtains 10-15 mm (0.4 - 0.6 in) play at the clutch lever end.

♦    Tlghten the locknut®.

MINOR ADJUSTMENT

♦    Tum the quick adjuster ® so that the clutch lever obtains 10 -15 mm (0.4 - 0.6 in) play at the clutch lever end before pres-sure is felt.

THROTTLE

lnadequate throttle cablejjlay can cause engine speed to rise suddenly whenyou tum the handlebars. This can lead to loss ot rider control.

Adjust the throttle cable play so that engine speed does not rise due to handlebar movement.

Adjust the throttle cable play as follows:

♦    Loosen the locknut ®.

♦    Tum the adjuster @ so that the throttle grip obtains 2-4 mm (0.08 - 0.16 in) play.

WH Throttle cable play: 2-4 mm (0.08-0.16 in)

♦    Tighten the locknut®.
