Double Paradiddles In 16th Notes RLRL RRLR LRLL RLRL Part 1: Snare Drum, Smali Tom, Large Tom

Double paradiddles in 16th-note form have a different feel from the double-paradiddle triplets in Section 2. Get tamiliar with the feel of the sticking before moving on to the drumset orchestrations below. Notę that the last four 16th notes of the double paradiddle, for our purposes here, are alternate single strokes. The single strokes act as a "turnaround" so that the sticking returns to a right-hand lead.
