FUEL SYSTEM 11-7

REED VALVE

REMOVAL

•    Remove the carburetor. (£7*11 -3)

♦    Remove the intake pipę and reed valve.

INSPECTION

♦    inspect the reeds for damage.

♦    Inspect the reed valve stoppers for damage.

♦    Inspect the valve seat rubber for damage.

NOTĘ:

Be careful not to damage the removed reed va!ve assembly.

REASSEMBLY

Reverse the sequence of removal. \

* Tighten the intake pipę bolt to fhe specifie.d torgue.

H Intake pipę bolt: 4£ NJrn,(0.45 kgf-m, 3,5 Ib-ft)
