Translucent nylon or metallic thread

Work around post of stitch indicated. inserting hook n direction of arrow (Fig. 2).

U ORKING IN TOP OF A STITCH

Mień instrucled to work in top of a stitch. Work in Dops indicated by arrow (Fig. 3).

String all beads onto thread.

With slip knot on hook. slide 6 beads up and ch 1 tightly to form a ring.

Rnd I (Right side): Ch 1, sc in same sp. ★ ch 3. skip next bead. sc in sp before next bead; repeat from ★ around, ch 1. skip last bead. hdc in first sc to form last ch-3 sp: 6 ch-3 sps.

Rnd 2: Ch 4 (counts as first dc plus ch 1). dc

in last ch-3 sp madę. ch 2, slide 6 beads up. ch 3,

★ dc in next ch-3 sp. (ch 1. dc in same sp) twice. ch 2. slide 6 beads up. ch 3; repeat from ★ around. dc in same sp as first dc. ch 1; join with slip st to first dc: 18 dc.

Rnd 3: Ch 1 sc in same st. ★ f ch 2. working in back ridge of ch around next 6 beads (Fig. 1), skip first bead, [(dc. ch 1) twice in sp before next bead. skip next bead] twice. (dc. ch 3. dc) in sp before next bead. [ch 1. skip next bead.
