Use the three-needle BO (see Glossary) to join shoulders. Sew in sleeves, easing in any fullness at the top. Tle: With a length of yarn 4 times the desired łinished length of waist tie, make a twisted cord (see Glossary). With WS facing, place cord inside easing and sew down long open edge of easing, enclosing the cord. Front bands: Transfer held lace border sts of right front to smaller needle. With RS facing, join yarn and work as foli: (RS) Kl, work 15 sts in patt, Ml. Next row: (WS) Kl, work 15 sts in patt, kl. Cont as estahlished until band, when slightly stretched around hack neck edge, reaches the live sts of left-front border.
