17-16 REAR SUSPENSION

INSTALLATION

•    Reassemble the following parts into the swingarm.

® Dust seal    ® Washer

(2) Spacer    ® Dust seal

® Washer    ® Spacer

® Thrust bearing

•    Apply grease to the dust seals, bearings and spacers.

99000-25030: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE “A” (USA) 99000-25010: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE “A” (Others)

•    Reassemble the Chain guide.

• Tighten the swingarm pivot nut to the specified torque. H Swingarm pivot nut: 70 Nm (7.0 kgf-m, 51.0 lb-ft)

•    Tighten the rear cushion rod nut to the specified tbrgue.\

n Rear cushion rod nut: 80 N m (8.0 kgf-m, 58-0 lb-ft)' \

•    Install the rear brake caliper. (0^1$-1{)) \ \ \^N x

•    Install the rear wheel. (CIT^t4-8)>
