Removal - injection Pump Belt instaliation - Injection Pmn|) Belt

Removal - Timing Belt Instoll«ition - Timing Belt

1.    Ensure camshaft timing mark aligned with centre of oil filier cap hole (4).

2.    Ensure crankshaft locking tool located correctly. Tool No.3242 (5).

3.    Ensure camshaft aligning tools fitted to rear of camshafts. Tool No.3458 (7).

4.    Ensure RH camshaft sprocket can tum freely without tilting.

5.    Fit timing belt in following order:

NOTĘ: Ohseive diiection of rotation marks. o Crankshaft sprocket. o RH camshaft sprocket. o Tensioner pulley. o Guide pulley. o Water pump pulley.

6.    Fit LH camshaft sprocket to belt, then install camshaft sprocket with belt onto end of camshaft.

7.    Fit camshaft sprocket bolt (13).

8.    Ensure LH camshaft sprocket can tum freely without tilting.

9.    Tum tensioner pulley slightly clockwise. Use 3 mm Allen key (20). Remove locking pin from tensioner body to release pushrod (21).

10.    Remove Allen key from tensioner pulley (20).

11.    Install torque wrench to hexagon of tensioner pulley.

12.    Apply anti-clockwise torque (in direction of arrow) of 15 Nm to tensioner pulley (24).

13.    Remove torque wrench.

14.    Hołd sprockets. Use tool No.3036 (19). Tighten bolt of each camshaft sprocket to 75-80 Nm (18).

15.    Install:

o Timing belt lower cover. o Viscous fan bracket. o Viscous fan pulley. o Crankshaft pulley. o Crankshaft pulley bolts (14).

NOTĘ: Ensure notches aligned with tabs on ciankshaft sprocket.

16.    Tighten crankshaft pulley bolts to 22 Nm (14).

17.    Fit injection pump belt as described previously.

18.    Install components in reverse order of removal.
