Always make up complete flowers on your ąuilling board before sticking them on to your card. U.sing this method, you can try different arrangements and thcn, when you arc satisfied, you can gluc them down and add leaves and other smali pieces.
5. V'shape Fold the strip in half, pinch the fold and thcn roli each cnd of the paper outwards towards the fold linę. This shape makes wonderful antennae for butterflies.
6. Quotes Fold the paper in half, pinch the fold and then roli one end outwards towards the fold and the other inwards (same direction) towards the fold.
7. P-shape Fold the paper in half and pinch the fold. Place both end pieccs into the ąuilling tool and roli downwards towards the fold. One piece of paper will bow slightly and this is correct.
To make up a complete flower, place one shape on your board and put a pin through its centre to stop it from slipping. Take a second shape and spread a little glue along the outside at the point where it will touch the first shape. Place it next to the First shape and lightly press the two together. Again, place a pin through the second shape to hołd it in position. Following your pattern, or making up the design as you go along, stick and pin the rest of the shapes until the flower is completed. Once the glue has dried, remove the pins and lift the flower from the board.
