Summary

Thisbook is the second part of a manuał whickgives a survevof numerical methods. Authors discuss here the basie methods and algorithms of soking Systems of algebraic linear equations, of matrix imersion, of soking nonlinear equations and Systems of nonlinear equations, of finding the eigenvector and cigenvaluc, of soking the least square problem and the partial diffcrential problems. The most important theorems conceming considered problems are gken (often with proofs).

Spccial attention, the same as in the first part, is gken to the evaluation of numerical stability of discussed algorithms and to their cfficiency. The book contains no procedures, only fraements of scvcral programs written in Algol. Instead. references to published procedures are supplied.
