Step 1

FOR your address book, trim your stitching to measure I4x14cm. Sew a piece of fabric to the top and bottom, open out and press. For your notebook, trim your stitching to 18x19cm. Attach your fabric to the top edge.

Step 2

CUT your three cream pieces to the same size as your front piece. Right sides in, sew a cream piece to your front piece. Stitch along the top edge only for your notebook, and the left side oniy for your address book.

Step 3

OPEN out and press, Repeat for the remaining two cream fabric pieces. Right sides in. pin and machinę stitch both sets of sewn pieces together, lining up the seams at the middte. Leave an opening forturning.

Step 4

TURN right sides out and push the lining inside. Slide on to your notebook to check the cover fits very snug. If it's loose, re-sew until it fits perfectly. Once you’ve got it right, slip stitch closed, push in the lining and slide on to your book.
