The half flower is madę from four petals glued to the beli shape with the two smaller retals at each side.

Glue the light-green semi-circles to the dark-green ones along the straight edges and when dry modify .uch piece into a leaf shape.

Making up the design

First, make a tracing of the shoe outline and transfer it to your card. The inner heel can be painted in with ink, paint, or felt-tipped pen, using a colour similar to chat of the shoe. In this example, I used a silver marker pen to complement the silver-edged white quilling paper used for the S-shapes. The bow on che back of the shoe is madę from two loops of paper with two short strips for the ‘tails’.

Arrange the made-up Flowers on the shoe as shown on the pattern. Remember to let some flowers overlap others to give dimension to the fmished piece.

Finally, fili the outline with the S-shapes. If you want to give the shoe a definite outline glue a strip of paper around the outer contour of the shoe, gluing it to the outer edges of the S-shapes.
