_Antenna Trimmer Adjustment_

The antenna trimmer should be adjusted in the fol-

lowing cases:

•    Fading and weak MW (AM) reception.

•    After installation of new antenna, feeder cable or radio receiver.

Before adjusting, be surę to check harness and

antenna feeder cable connectors for proper con-

nection.

1.    Extend antenna completely.

2.    Turn radio on, and turn voiume control to in-crease speaker volume.

3.    Tune in the weakest station (barely audible) on dial at the rangę around 14 (1,400 kHz).

4.    Turn antenna trimmer to left or right slowly, and set it in the position where reception is stron gest.

Antenna Removal

1.    Remove antenna feeder cable from radio.

2.    Remove ground cable.
