For this window hanging I covered a macramć ring with ribbon, and then added strips of ąuilling paper to make the framework to support a ąuilled water-lily in a posy ruff.

A great many people look at my work and say that they did not realize how intricate ‘real’ ąuilling is nor did they realize how beautiful the finished pieees can be. There are numerous excellent and innovative ąuillers in Great Britain and also in the Netherlands but, unfortunately, their beautiful work is very rarely seen in public. However, you too can become an expert — it may take a little time and patience, but then, you cannot create a work of art in a few minutes! Just remember that the morę you do the better you will become.

This is so?itething completely dijferent. I cali the tecbnique sculptured ąuilling. I take blocks of ąuilling strips (with the glue lefi on one end) and curl them around to form a fantasy picture.
