•    An arrow indicates the generał direction of work.

•    The number of double stitches relative to each position is given in figures.

•    Where letters of the alphabet are used, they indicate the seąuence of work.

•    A numeral set in a circle identifies the seąuence of rows or rounds where relevant.

•    Any further notation will be explained with the relevant pattern.

•    The need to reverse work should be apparent from the lay out of the dia-grams.
