EMERALD MAŻE

Emerald Maże, a distinctive bargello pattern of basketweave design, is most effective when variations of the same color are shaded from light to dark. Such color combinations change dramatically according to each adjacent color. In Emerald Maże, a green base color belongs to all the threads.

In one section of four interlocking rows, yellow has been added to the green base, thus the chosen colors vary from limę green to ochrę. These green^yellow combinations evoke feelings of warmth, intimacy and wisdom. They are heart-centered and bring calmness to difficult situations, easing claustrophobic conditions as one seeks the right space and right place. In its opposite section of four interlocking rows are emerald green shades whose green-blue combinations are cool, expansive and peaceful. These colors represent the State of relaxation in which one feels the growth of space, the tranąuillity of meadows and green grass, the revitalizing and opening of the heart.

The many-layered emotions aroused by such opposing color combinations are represented by the multhdimensional effect of the pattern itself. Emerald Maże is both an intimate and distant cushion whose vibrancy, resulting from warm colors opposing cool colors, draws attention to itself wherever it is placed. Within an environment it brings a sense that similarities and opposition exist simultaneously, reminding one that choice is necessary and available at every given moment. The luxury of such knowledge sparkles with green glass beads, suggesting life is best as a joy not a struggle.

RlGHT: This classic lattice pattern has always symbolized the intertwining of life, the weaving together of people and the events they share. The choice of multiple shades of the same color green evokes feelings of sharing while being separate, of being independent yet having a group identity. Here such complexity is accentuated by using iwo shades of green glass beads to form a pattern within a pattern.
