'Labie 11 is for intcrpolating the L.M.T. of moonrise, moonset and the Moon’s meridian passage for longitudc. It is entered with longitudc and with the diffcrencc bctwccn the times for ihc given datc and for the prcccding datc (in cast longitudc*) or folłowing datc (in west longitudc*) The correction is normally ajded for west longitudc* and subtracted for cast longitudcs, but if, as occaskmally happens, the times bccomc carlicr cach day instead of latcr, the signs of the corrections must bc rcversed.
