"Out at ...” means bring llie needle from tlie back of lhc work (hrotigh lo Ihe front.

“In at ...” means takc tlie needle from łhe riglil side of llie work througli lo lhc back.

Tlie Bailoon Iłach side of llie bailoon is worked as Iwo separate pieees.

Start willi tlie top section.

Out at 1 in at 2 Out at 3 in at 4 Out at 5 in at 6 Out at 7 in at 8 Continue until complete to 22.

Bottoni Section Out at T in tlie top section in at U Out at V in at 2 Out at 3 in at W Continue until complete to 22 again.

Centre of Bailoon Out at A in at B Out at C in at D Out at E in at F Continue until complete.

Work tlie other lialf of the centre section in tlie same way.

Finally join centre point Z to B.

Basket

Out at 1 in at 2 Out at 3 in at 4 Continue until the horizontal lines are complete then work tlie verticól lines in tlie same way.

Next work round the basket from corner to corner witli a single stitch and join the basket to the bailoon witli a single stitch from corner to corner and across the base of the bailoon.
