72 m-m., stroke 90 m m.. overhead inlet valve$. totally cnclosed. Inlct and cxhaust valves and exhaust pipes are of large
diametcr. Tlić cylinder bottoms and all the machined extemal parts of the engine are heavily plated. The exhaust pipes
arc carricd in a very easy sweep to a cast aluminium si lence r. thence through a straight cxtcnsion pipę to the rcar. lhc magneto is chain driven, and is carried at the rear of bach* cylinder. Inlct pipę is an aluminium casting. The running of the engine is hcautifully quiet and sweet in action. Thcrc are no valvc gear noises. and the exhaust notę is a
particularly pleasant hum.

CARBURETTOR. An A.M.A.C. pilot jct typc is found to be the most satisfactory. and this has been standardised. IGNITION. Specification as Mark I.
