Arranging Rings
(A few techniąues used issue)
As we all know tatted RINGS may be arranged in motives of 3, 4, 5, and 6 rings, and those motives are usually connected by chains into a length of lace.
But can we make a length of lace with rings only? And how do we bridge those rings, or motives?
The first things that come to mind (besides chains) are SPLIT RINGS:
- Either Split Rings madę with TWO shuttles (the projects and pietures are on pp 7-13, those are actually combinations of Regular & Split rings).
- Or Single Shuttle Split Rings (SSSR)
(there are no projects with SSSR in this book, but you can see the techniąues at: http://www.georgiaseitz.com/2002/sssr/rietsssr.html and http://www.paradisetreasures.com/takedasssr.pdf
The alternative solution includes a PULLED LOOP join (see techniąue description on p.4)
- Regular Rings, madę with ONE Shuttle (see pp 5-6).
- A linę ofTWIN Rings, also madę with ONE Shuttle
(see the project on ppl4 -15)
- We can combine Rows of TWIN & Single Rings using TWO shuttles loaded CTM (the pattem is on p 16).
- Or two Rows ofTWIN Rings using TWO shuttles
(see the project on ppl7 -18).
