“Out at...” means bring the needle from the back of the work through to the front.
“In at...” means take the needle from the right side of the work through to the back.
On many sections of this design some holes are used morę than once.
Flower 1 Petals
Shown on petal 1.
Out at A in at B Out at C in at D Out at E in at F Continue this seąuence until the petal is complete. Stitch the other petals in the same way.
Trumpet Out at G in at H Out at I in at J Continue this seąuence until the trumpet is complete.
Lily
Petals
Shown on petal 1 of flower 1.
Out at R in at S Out at T in at U Out at V in at W Continue this seąuence until the petal is complete.
Stitch the other petals in the same way.
Stamen
Shown on flower 2.
Out at 1 in at X Out at 2 in at X Out at 3 in at X Out at 4 in at X Out at 5 in at X Notę the thread goes from side to side.
Stamen beads.
Shown on flower 1. Stitch the five beads in place.
Complete the stamens on the other flower in the same way.
Leaves
Shown on leaf 1.

Stitch the other leaf in the same way.
Stems
Shown on the main stem. Out at 1 in at 3 Out at 2 in at 4 Out at 3 in at 5
