STITCHES & NOTES

FPdc: Yarn over, insert hook from front to back to front around post of stitch indicated and puli up a loop, (yarn over and puli through 2 loops on hook) twotimes.

Make Flower: FPdc around next dc, ch 3, (FPdc, ch 3) five times around same dc, rotate piece 180 degrees, (FPdc, ch 3) five times around previous dc in md below, FPdc around same dc.

Base md, each side: Muld ple of 10+4 + corner sts.

Begin 1 st to left of corner st.

Rnds 1 and 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in each st around, płacing 5 dc in each corner st, join with slip st to top of ch-3.

Rnd 3: Ch 3 (counts as dc), *[dc in next dc, Make Flower, dc behind Flower in next dc, dc in next 8 dc] to 7 dc from corner st, Make Flower, dc behind Flower in next dc, dc in next 4 dc, 2 dc in next 3 dc, dc in next 4 dc; rep from * around, omitting last dc, join with slip st to top of ch-3.

Rnd 4: Ch 1, work Reverse sc in each st around, join with slip st to first st. Fasten off.
