Popcorn: Make 5 dc in one stitch or space, drop loop from hook and insert hook from front to back through top of fi ret stitch in the popcorn then into dropped loop, yam over and puli through 2 loops on hook.

Base md, each side: Multiple of 2 + 1 + corner sts. Beginl st to leftof corner sL

Rnd 1: Ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in each st around, płacing 5 dc in each corner st, join with slip st to top of ch-3.

Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, placing 3 sc in each corner st, join with slip stto first sc.

Rnd 3: Ch 1, sc in same st, 'Popcorn in next sc, [sc in next sc, Popcorn in next sc]" to corner st, (sc, Popcorn, sc) in corner st; rep from * around, ending lastrep at "Join with slip stto fi ret sc. Fastenoff.

Use hang tags from the office-supply storę as a memory jogger. If you have to remove your hook to use it in a diffenent project, write the hook size and brand on the hang tag and place it in the last stitch. When you come back, you'll know exactiy which hook you were using. Tag your swatches with hook, yam, and stitch pattern infbrmation for easy identification.
