Partial dc: Yam over, insert hook into stiteh or space indicated and puli up a loop, yam over and puli through 2 loops on hook.

Base md, each side: Multiple of 6 + 5 + corner sts.

Begin 3 sts to leftof comer st

Rnd 1: Ch 3 (counts as dc), 2 dc in same st, *ch 1, skip 2 sts, [dc in next st, ch 1, skip 2 sts, 3 dc in next st, ch 1, skip 2 sts] to corner st (dc, ch 3, dc) in comer st, ch 1, skip 2 sts**, 3 dc in next st rep from * around, ending last rep at **, join with slip stto top of ch-3.

Rnd 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in next2 dc, ch 1, *dc in next dc, [ch 1, dc in next 3 dc, ch 1, dc in next dc] to corner space, ch 1, 3 dc in comer space — comer group madę, ch 1; rep from * around, ending last rep dc in next dc, ch 1, join with slip st to top of ch-3.

Rnd 3: Ch 3 (counts as dc), Partial dc in next 2 dc, yarn over and puli through all 3 loops on hook to dc2tog, *ch 2, dc i n next dc, ch 2**, [Parti al dc i n next 3 dc, yam over and puli through all 4 loops on hook to dc3tog, ch 2, dc in next dc, ch 2] to corner group, Partial dc in nextdc, 2 Partial dc in nextdc, yamover and puli through all 4 loops on hook to complete dc3tog, ch 1, dc3tog 2 sts in same st and 1 in next dc; rep from * around, ending last rep at **, join with slip stto top of ch-3.
