The outstanding feature of Huber Super Four Tractors that makes them extra value is their wonderful excess power that enables them to do morę work in less time and to accomplish the big and difficult jobs that ordinary tractors can not do. The advanced design and mammoth construction of the Huber Stearns Engine make this excess power possible. Not only are the finest materials and the very latest and best methods of manufacture employed but propor-tions are such that it will carry the maximum that is used, the shaft has large physical propor-tions and greater bearing areas than is used in any other heavy duty four cylinder engine of similar horse power.
And so, throughout its design, provision has been madę for extra strength and resistance at points of extra strain and wear. The result is an engine that will stand up in service and last longer than the ordinary engine used in tractor service. It is an engine remarkably
load if necessary, day after day without fal-tcring and without injury to its working parts.
The construction of the crank shaft may be taken as an index of the makeup of this engine throughout. The shaft is madc of the same nickcl and chromium alloy and is subjected to the same heat treatment processes as is used in the highest grade aviation engines where strength and resistance to fatigue are so necessary. Notwithstanding the high grade materiał free from common faults that often cause an-noying delays. It purrs along steadily and ąuietly delivering an endless flow of even power.
The engine is fitted with Kingston Automatic Governor that may be instantly adjusted from deck. Ensign Carburetor. Eisemann High Tension Magneto and Impulse Starter. Uses JĄ-IS spark plugs. Normal speed 1000 to 1200 R. P. M. but may be varicd with governor or throttle to lower or higher speeds at will.
