Project: ,Trade-off between species recognition and individual discrimination in tropical Turtur doves'

Requirements

•    MSc in biology, ecology (or similar); recognized in Poland or nostrified

•    I seek a bright and highly motivated student with strong interests in behavioural and evolutionary ecology. Willingness to carry out fieldwork in a harsh tropical environment is essential for this position. The student will record spontaneous singing and behaviour as well as conduct playback experiments, trap birds, measure them and take blood samples. In addition, student will use molecular methods and Chemical analysis in the laboratory. Previous experience with avian field biology or any other field experience in the tropics is very important.
