Converting Disks

When a new disk is installed, it is recognized and configured as a basie disk. To

create a dynamie disk, you must convert a basie disk to a dynamie disk. After

the conversion is complete, you can create a wide rangę of dynamie volumes.

You can also extend volumes over multiple disks. These capabilities provide

you with greater contro1 and helps to prevent data loss due to hardware failure.
