The Editorial Board ofthe “Acta Humana” scientific joumal is collecting articles, reviews and reports for the 9th volume, the main topie of which is
We would like to invite the doctoral students and young research workers from different areas of the humanilies. such as iinguistics. literary studies. history. culture studies. media studies, film studies. ethnography and adjacent fields to participate in creation of the next volume
of our joumal.
We suggest the following ways of developing the main topie:
• diachrony and synchrony in the humanities
• crossroads and alternative paths of the humanities
• dialog of the modern limes with tradition
• humanistic futurologies
• the ways of presenting the past and the present in different areas of art
• history and its influence on the present
• linguistic change from the point of view of the past, the present and the futurę
• genres - now and in the past
• values in the eonlewt of change
• the continuity of the past, the present and the futurę
• new Solutions to old problems
• expiration and/or timelcssness of informalion in the humanities
• events, phenomena and historical processes - old and modern approaches
• old texts in the context of new methodologies
• the evolution of methodology in historical, linguistic, literary', culture and media studies
• new sources as a challenge for researchers
The problems listed abovc should not be treated as an exhaustivc list of available subjeets. Thcy arc just guidelines for individual scientific enterprises. Ali new proposals are welcome.
The texls musi be submitted before 15 October, 2018.
The articles may be written in Polish. English or Russian.
The authors are advised to get accustomed with the Rules and Regulations of the journal and the Editorial Requirements.
