In areas with high deer density and limited food plot acreage, warm-season legumes like lablab may not last long. This smali demonstration plot of lablab, cowpeas and soybeans was planted at QDMA Headquarters in 2013, and a portable plastic fence was used to protect the plot until it was maturę. These two photos,taken 10 days apart in August, show how rapidly deer stripped the forage after the fence was opened.
