W dniach 10-15 lipca 2005 zorganizowano w Zakopanem cykliczną konferencję międzynarodową odbywającą się co 2 lata: Janik’s Friends Meeting - Neutron Scattering and Related Phenomena. W konferencji wzięło udział 50 osób w tym 15 gości zagranicznych. Wygłoszono 22 referaty w tym 11 przez gości zagranicznych.
