EXCHANGĘ OF NOTES CONSTITUTING AN AGREEMENT1 BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF NEW ZEALAND AND THE GOVERNMENT OF MEXICO CONCERNING THE MUTUAL ABOLITION OF YISA FEES

Londres, a 28 de febrero de 1969
Senor Alto Comisionado:
Tengo la honra de informar a Vuestra Excelencia que, eon objęto de facilitar el intercambio de viajeros entre nuestros dos palses, el Gobierno de Mexico estd dispuesto a concertar un Acuerdo eon el Gobiemo de Nueva Zelandia, en los siguientes terminos:
1. Los mexicanos en posesión de pasaportes mexicanos validos que de-seen entrar a Nueva Zelandia tempor-almente y cuya internación en Nueva Zelandia haya sido aprobada, recibir&n visas en forma gratuita de las autori-dades neozelandesas respectivas que las expidan.
2. Los ciudadanos de Nueva Zelandia en posesión de pasaportes neo-zelandeses validos que deseen entrar a Mexico como no inmigrantes de buena fe (turistas y transmigrantes), y cuya internación en Mexico haya sido aprobada, recibirón visas en forma gratuita de las autoridades mexicanas respectivas que las expidan.
3. No obstante lo anterior, queda entendido:

I have the honour to inform you that, in order to faeilitate travel be-tween our two countries, the Govern-ment of Mexico is prepared to enter into an agreement with the Govem-ment of New Zealand, expressed in the following terms:
1. Mexican nationals possessing valid Mexican passports who desire to enter New Zealand temporarily, and whose entry into New Zealand has been approved, will receive visas free of charge from the appropriate New Zealand visa issuing authority.
2. New Zealand citizens possessing valid New Zealand passports who desire to enter Mexico as bona fide non-immigrants (tourist and transit yisitors), and whose entry into Mexico has been approved, will recieve visas free of charge from the appropriate Mexican visa issuing authority.
3. Notwithstanding the foregoing provisions, it is understood :
