For the last three years, has been involved in research on behalf cf the Law Association for Asia and the Western Pacific on Asian contract law and the legał aspects of development finance and its security in several Asian countries. In 1969, he was one of the Australian representatives at the Conference of Development Banks held by the Asian Development Bank in Manila.
