Davins continued their success in the Tipperary championship of 1967. They had an easy victory over Arravale Rovers, 7-7 to 2-4. in the quarter-final at Clonmel on September 17. They trounced the West champions, Eire Óg, by 5-15 to 0-2, in the semi-final at Thurles on Octo-ber 15. They beat Roscrea in the finał at Thurles on October 29 by 2-10 to 2-7. In the Munster club championship Davins madę a bold bid to retain the title they won the previous year. In the opening round they defeated Ardfert by 2-17 to I -8. They followed up with a victory over Castlegar by 5-13 to 4-7 in the semi-final at Limer-ick on September 8.
1968. However. they lost the finał at the same venue by 3-9 to 2-7 to Newmarket-on-Fergus on October 8.
Davins failed to make łt to the 1968 South finał, which was contested by Ballybacon-Grange and Marlfield.They lost to Ballyba-con by a last-minute point from former Davin man* Tommy 'Senator Murphy in the semi-final.
