At one point Gen.S. asked about local transport conditions on the front. Gen.E.said they were extremely difficult. Men had to carry everything themselves - that*s why the advance was so slow. Gen.S.asked whether it would not be advisable to form transport units of mules, which is the beet solution in this mountainous country. Gen.E. agreed with the suggestięn in principle, but did not take it up any further.
