MODERNIZATION AND EXTENSION OF THE DAIRY FARM ACCORDING TO THE EUROPEAN STANDARDS

Project initiator	ALC “Pivdennyi Kolos”.
Project goals	Creation of a modem dairy complex to develop dairy farming, to obtain a high-quality milk and the maximum profit for produced milk and beef at the minimal cost for their production, creation of the new jobsites.
Short summary of the project	Modernization and expansion of the dairy farm according to the European standards will provide the opportunity to purchase the purebred heifers for the upgrading the main herd. Gross yield of the high quality milk per cow will be morę than 5000-8000 kg.
Expected results	Employment of 10 people. Cows’ productivity of the dairy herd will be from 1250 thousand kg to 4000 thousand kg per year. The first five years of the production will be unchanged. After five years and payment of all financial obligations it is planned to realize the modernization of other buildings and the increase of the number of dairy herds.
